✔️ Dosage & Administration of Flamyd Suspension

Tablet & Suspension:
- Trichomoniasis:
Adults: 200 mg three times daily or 400 mg twice daily for 7 days, or 2 g as a single dose
Children: Dosage varies by age (e.g., 100 mg tid for 7–10 yrs) - Amoebiasis:
Adults: 800 mg tid for 5 days (intestinal); 400–800 mg tid for 5–10 days (extra-intestinal)
Children: Age-based dosing ranging from 100–400 mg tid or qid - Giardiasis:
Adults: 2 g daily for 3 days
Children: 500 mg–1 g daily for 3 days, based on age - Bacterial Vaginosis:
400 mg twice daily for 7 days or 2 g single dose - Other Anaerobic Infections (e.g., gingivitis, ulcers, dental infections):
200–800 mg tid for 3–7 days
- Hepatic Impairment: Reduced metabolism may require dose adjustment
- Renal Impairment: No dose adjustment usually necessary, but metabolites may accumulate
- Hemodialysis: Re-administer post-dialysis
